Large Hadron Collider

Fred Oliveira on June 10, 2008

They flip the switch (to turn the LHC on, that is) in about a month - which is scary in a Half-Life Unforseen Consequences kind of way. If you don’t know what the LHC is, check out this page for information on the project. And cross your fingers.

There once was a man from the CERN
Whose passion for physics did burn
So he sold his own soul
To create a black hole
My oh my he’d best buy a big urn

Hitting pigeons with the proton stream? LOL
Now that’s what I call intelligent use of a Hadron Collider.

This blog is the ultimate assertion, I mean, for real, that you guys rock!
And also, now I can see what you guys are up to without th need of being present in your office, which is cool. You know, with the current price of gas and all…

Take care guys.
